I have arthritis so I can't hold a controller and work it. I don't know why they even have aim assist for controllers...I have played against some crazy controller players and they take advantage of it and don't need it to begin with. For any Call of Duty (or FPS) they make rules that help whoever they make them for. If you make a game that can be played on many different platforms then don't make different rules for whoever has a different way of playing the game. If you aren't monkeying with the software to cheat for a game then leave everyone alone and let them play. For me I use a mechanical keyboard and mouse and let me say I still get my ass beat by controller folks quite regularly. For me the aim assist for controller players makes it hard for me to be completely competitive. There's nothing more sad to watch a reply of my death and see them following me through the wall. UGH!

It's simple guy , just like you have left handed equipment for some sports . You are simply accommodating the difference between players . Not everyone is comfortable with the standard controller. That maybe your preference but it doesn't suit everyone. To put it in more basic terms your opion would be like forcing everyone to wear the same shoes to play basketball or what ever gear or game you prefer. Everyone is different and efficiency comes from practice. There is just as much learning curve for either device.

I have an important question... I know it's possible to Assign 2 keyboard keys on 1 button, since that's how the THUMBSTICK work for KB/M mode check the diagonals... but for some reason if I remove the defaults I can never manually add a second keys (only for ALT/CTRL etc.) so I know it's possible... but for the life of me can't find it anywhere online!! PS: I'm speaking PC specifically, cuz most reviewer keep focussing on Consoles online :(

not sure if your still checking in on these old videos, but just a few thing's, first, you are an awesome div player, you've helped so many people become better players, second, I've redownloaded Division 1 and it's community is still alive and well, I'm really rusty, but it'a great to be back in the game. third and final thought, if that was your character in D2, that huge backpack looks ridiculous, you looked awesome in D1, and that dude in the video looks like a hiker/turtle. LOL

Ethics? It’s what tools are at hand. I use a mouse and Tac pad on PS4 and I can tell you playing against a good player on controller it’s about the same. I can’t use a controller for FPS.

These types of devices have been around since shortly after the time the ps4 launched. Because of that, I find it quite agregious that game devs refuse to put m/kb support into modern shooters. I have a cheap mouse and a basic keyboard. The PS4 supports both these devices. However certain games arbitrarily refuse to support these cheaper options, while this expensive licenced option is totally viable. I find this so frustrating. Essentially it is making the multiplayer online console ecosystem pay-to-win. You either can afford to have an edge or you can't. I don't think anyone is doing anything wrong by using the tools available to them. I don't think devices like this are cheating. I just KNOW game devs could support any mouse and keyboard on console, and certain devs just refuse on principle. That would be fine, except that this exists.

I would love for you to revisit this video and go through gear in its current form.

i am looking into buying this device not for fps shooters but for mmorpg play for easier play and manueverablity reasons. i am not looking for an edge but the ease of aiming with a mouse is something i could see being an advantage in a fps how much would depend on you skill level with each controller though i think it would be reasonable to say if you took the best pc player and the best console player and put them on a level playing field with their own respective controllers they would still be pretty evenly matched.

Can work on borderlands 3?

I built a gaming cockpit and it has a hotas built in. I wanted the tac pro for games like gundam battle operation so I could keep that feeling of a more tactile control than the ds4. I've only had this thing plugged up for an hour or so and I don't see how anyone thinks this is an advantage. I feel like I need 25 fingers to run this. I guess I'm just a console gamer at heart but I was really hoping for at least some basic function without a huge learning curve. At least it will work on my pc until I figure out the problem. Your video has good info, I didn't realize the mouse mattered (console gamer) and I will try replacing it.

Thing is, m&kb has its disadvantages as well. Plus most games are crossplay with pc these days so it really doesn't matter.

This will not make you a better player you will not dominate especially when you have been playing controller your whole life. You'll either have to much acceleration or to much deadzone l been using hori tac pro the first one since it came out and would spend hours to get a good enough setting if you see my video of battlefield hardline thats me using tac pro.

can't make the keyboard work on COD WARZONE. No matter what I try, only the X button on the thumb works, no other key works. Any idea whats going on? Thanks

I can't connect the app with hori tac doesn't recognize it I don't know what to do if you can advise what to do

In response to the question "why would you use a mouse and keyboard in a multiplayer game" I have been playing games with friends via crossplay, they are all on PC and matchmaking has resulted us in playing with players on PC making it necessary to consider purchasing such a device

the reason the mouse sucks is because you have the hori tac pro m2 set to the PS4 setting, so its all basically emulating the controller but with a mouse you know? if you turn the keyboard upside down and switch it to the keyboard and mouse setting it really isnt that bad, of course all games dont support keyboard and mouse so what i do is i use the ps4 settings on games that dont support keyboard and mouse and i use the keyboard and mouse settings for games that do and its much better
